You’re doing a very fantastic job Christian.. Lrc masks is getting good and things like objects and intersect make huge difference .. but unfortunately, it’s still not supported in Lightroom mobile I don’t know why they haven’t added that yet, ti use intersect I can get around sometime by reversing the procedure, but it’s exhausted and not easy If it possible you make some videos about how to find tricks to overcome the difference between LRC and LR because there is so many people like me who use LR mobile or iPad a lot because they’re editing while being outside most of the time Thank you

I am a firm believer in obtaining results s.o.o.c (straight-out-of-camera) as much as possible. Editing should be a minimum usage of time. Yes, crop out what is not needed, apply HSL and print/publish/save. It would make more sense for camera manufacturers to simply have a built-in solution to increasing dynamic range, activate this and apply as you see fit when capturing the image in the first instance. -- Very dismayed at how much much reliance/dependency is afforded to Editing Images. I understand now why so many would-be-photographers consign their newly acquired kit/gear/equipment into 'storage'. Nobody wants to be an 'art-director' or 'editing specialist'!

Unfortunately the most viewers will still buy cheap noname tripods )))). The fact is: even a cheap tripod will help a lot, and the most amateur photographers are quite satisfied with that.

Why bring down the radius to zero in sharpening and detail to 100% and when would you not apply this ?

Hi Christian, eine Frage zum Schärfen. Du hast das nur auf dem Hauptfoto mittels Masking gemacht. Wird das Masking dann neu berechnet, wenn du die getätigten Änderungen auf alle Bilder kopierst? Müsste das Schärfen nicht erst nach dem Focus Stacking passieren? Genauso bewegt sich ja die Blume leicht. Wie kann es dann sein, dass das Masking der Blume selbst, als du die Belichtung von rechts oben hinzugefügt hast, exakt stimmt? Viele deiner Schritte müssten also doch eigentlich erst nach dem Stack gemacht werden, oder nicht? Also, ich würde quasi erst das Alignment und den Stack machen und das Bild danach bearbeiten, oder seh ich das komplett falsch?

The one nitpick I frequently hear in image reviews is over exposed areas on the border of an image can distract or pull the viewers eye away. On the right side of the horizon there is a small rectangular shape that looks blown out. That small distraction could cropped out. Your masking works very well to create a dramatic image.

I do not recall seeing dramatic, stormy skies with so much aqua/blue tint. To me, that renders the sky somewhat unnatural. Also, you made some seemingly very minor adjustments, such as changing the aqua and blue saturation by +2 and +3. Is the change really noticeable? How will it look on a print?
